Airbrushed inside and outIt just didn't sound right. Scarlett and Ryan are a beautiful couple, and I'm sure as newlyweds they're probably blissfully happy, but they're also two of the most publicity-shy celebrities around. They've never opened up about their private relationships - with anyone.
Yet January's Cosmo UK is running an alleged interview in which Scarlett was quoted as saying, "This is a very beautiful time for me. Getting married is a huge moment in anyone's life, and the few months leading up to it were a little crazy." What a lovely quote. There's just one little problem: Scarlett never said that. Her reps are claiming the entire interview was "wholly fabricated" and may take legal action.
This wasn't The Weekly World News or even The Globe - this was a big-name glossy mag, not a supermarket tabloid. Team Scarlett claims Cosmo UK was just looking to boost circulation; the publishing world has not been immune to the current economic recession, so perhaps an enterprising journalist stretched the truth a bit. The mag's not talking, but the cover with ScarJo is still on their website, so who knows? It wouldn't be the first time a celebrity denied an earlier statement.
