It didn't have to be like thatI know. Not a big shock. But still, I don't think it's the whole truth. While some findings have been released, Michael's family has been working feverishly to spin the results. After all, their financial futures all depend on keeping their brother's memory more Thriller than pill-er.
Someone else with a keen interest in putting off the inevitable has been one Dr. Conrad Murray, the attending physician who apparently not only administered the fatal dose but actually left the unconscious star unattended while he went to make a few phone calls, maybe have a beer. Who knows? When Dr. Murray went back to the room, Jackson wasn't breathing, and the rest, well, is history.
The LA Coroner has released its findings that Michael Jackson did indeed die from a monstrous cocktail of hardcore drugs. The notorious propofol was just the icing on the cake. That makes criminal charges on his pet doctor a pretty sure thing - as they should be. As his doctor, Murray should have helped Michael get off the drugs he was so strung out on instead of helping him find a good vein.
