For those not familiar with New York society, William Marshall is the son and greedy heir of Brooke Astor, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 105. Marshall is currently under indictment for swindling his mother out of millions when her Alzheimer's fuddled her mind.
All this didn't set well with virtuous young Miss Hearst. In her Page Six Magazine column, Lydia said, "As an heiress, I think the most important thing is to maintain respect for the legacy that has afforded a wonderful life. To invite unfavorable attention is the ultimate betrayal to the name, and it? s surprising that anyone from a family with those means might misuse a loved one? s money or sully a grand reputation.?
I wonder if she wrote that while straddling Cisco's baggy berries.
