Sometimes You Just Really Need A Sword-fighting Mouse. The Hot Prince Didn't Hurt Either. And Liam Neeson's Voice Is So Soothing 27.May.2008

The cast of the chronicles of NarniaThough everyone was seeing Indy this weekend I wanted to check out "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian." I loved the "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" and sometimes you just need to see a wonderful fantasy film with half-goat people running around. Sadly my favorite half-goat person from the first film (Mr.Tumnus played by the lovely James McAvoy) was not in this one but there were plenty of other cool creatures in this one. Plus I find the kids in these films to be very charming. Georgie Henley is still adorable as the enchanting and faithful Lucy and William Mosely and Skandar Keynes (a great-great-great-great grandson of Charles Darwin) are very believable as well (though Skandar definitely got a bit jipped in lines in this one though he had the bigger story line in the first.) The romance between Anna Popplewell and hottie hot Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian) seemed forced (there were about 100 longing eye looks) but still sweet though I wonder if C.S. Lewis had that in mind. My favorite part was anything with the brave mouse Reepicheep (voiced by the wonderful Eddie Izzard.) He was very funny and had a lot more balls than Mickey.ReepicheepNarnia cast
