I'm almost legal!First Miley Cyrus released her (yawn) riveting life story at the ripe old age of 15. I guess when you look and sound like a truck stop waitress you can do that. And now America's little sweetheart, Justin Bieber, is telling all in his upcoming book, Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story. The Bieber is only 16 years old. How much could he really have to say?
The Book of Bieber is supposedly full of uplifting and inspirational words from the teen idol, little gems like, "Never give up." Wow. Kinda takes your breath away, doesn't it? So sweet, so pure ... so obviously publicist-written. I think the Biebs is like the mighty midget cheerleader, careful to keep it clean when the cameras are rolling, and a wild child behind closed doors. Remember, this is the boy Kim Kardashian tweeted about crushing on, and we all know how she likes to roll).
Right now Bieber Fever is everywhere. Everybody's latching on to this kid any way they can. This book is probably just another way of cashing in on his fame while he can. The odds are definitely against him being able to successfully transition from teen to adult star - just ask Leif Garrett. I for one will be glad to see him ride off into the sunset, taking his my pretty pony hair with him. All the teenagers in my neighborhood wear their hair like that and I'm like so sick of it. And I certainly won't be reading his memoirs. Maybe in another 20 years when he's actually lived a little.
