This week's Star Magazine has an in-depth look at the shady past and unpaid judgments in Dr. Phil's past. If Oprah hasn't made up her mind to fire him yet, maybe this will give her enough reason. According to Star, Dr. Phil was investigated for sexually harrassing an employee and was reprimanded for banging a patient, resulting in his practice being put on probation in 1999.
In the 70s, Dr. Phil bilked hundreds of people out of money in a gym membership scam. He signed people up then sold the contracts to a finance company. When he skipped town those customers still had to pay off the loan. When the heat came down, Phil fled to his daddy's house in Texas and set up shop with him - because you couldn't collect an out-of-state judgment in Texas at that time. He still owes $41,000 to three different banks in Topeka. Maybe he should use his severance check from Harpo.

Dr. Phil gave Dog the Bounty Hunter a nasty, bad time re. his {thought to be private phone call with his son) which turned out was being taped.
Dog has explained himself and said over and over how sorry he is and that he has many black friends with whom he felt he was "cool enought" to use the "n" word, just as they do. His show & all his crew have now lost their very popular show.
If what the "Star" has reported re. Dr. Phil, is true, he is a real jerk....It sounds like he may not be an ethical person and should be ashamed of himself.
I am white and have had black friends. I wouldn't use the "n" word.
I think what Dr. Phil did (if true)is far worse.
