No longer a threat to herself or others?Oh, come on, Foxy. You'll have to do better than that. Judge Melissa Jackson must be a mother. She saw right through Foxy's shenanigans and sent her right back to Rikers, where she belongs.
Foxy has been petitioning the court for an early release so that she can travel to California to get her cochlear implant, which was damaged in a fight with another inmate, repaired. The only trouble with her request is that she wasn't able to prove it medically, and the Judge turned her down.
Now Foxy either has to go through the Department of Corrections for treatment at Rikers or a city hospital, or wait until her scheduled release date of April 20 for treatment. By then she'll either have figured out how to file that cochlear implant down into a shiv, or she'll emerge a rehabilitated woman who is kind and gentle to all living things.
