Clean slate(r)Yeesh. It's bad enough when women get freakishly smooth and shiny, but when a man gets all Botoxed up, it's just odd. Are we seeing the next Mickey Rourke-alike?
Christian Slater is not old; he just turned 38. That is the age that some women start worrying about the effects of aging, but most men usually hold off for a few more years. Hell, I think a few lines and a couple of grays make a man even sexier - the Clooney is a prime example of a man who improves with age.
The bad thing about Botox is once you start you can't stop. I think when the shots wear off the sag-and-bag really sets in and you have to maintain or shrivel up like a prune. But the more you do the more unnatural you look. Take Nicole Kidman for example. I don't care what she says; her face is strung tighter than a mandolin. That's gotta hurt, and it's got to seriously hurt your ability to act when you can't move your face. And what about the long-term effects of these treatments? What's going to happen to all these celebrities when they start growing mushroom spores where their laugh lines used to be? Hey, it could happen.
