Tammy BlanchardTammy Blanchard is an excellent actress who has managed to snag some very plumb roles but has gone a bit unnoticed which in this day and age is quite a feat. She started off on the soap opera Guiding Light in which she acted with less talented people like Brittany Snow and Bethany Joy Linz (One Tree Hill) but it was her role as the young Judy Garland in the TV mini-series "Life With Judy Garland: Me and my Shadows" that won her an Emmy. Her performance in that film was slightly over-shadowed by her stunning resemblence to Judy making the film all that more authentic. Then she bounced around in some other sad mini-series (We are the Mulvaneys) and the terrible film "Stealing Harvard." Then she landed the important role of playing Matt Damon's deaf girlfriend in the highly-acclaimed film "The Good Shepherd." She now has a remake of everyone's favorite multiple-personality girl "Sybil" in the works and her film "Bella" (which looks super wonderful) can be seen in select theaters now. Not bad for a girl from soap operas. Here is the trailer for Bella which looks excellent. Oh I forgot to mention she can sing too and was nominated for a Tony for her performance as Gypsy Rose Lee in Gypsy opposite Bernadette Peters. She will also co-star in "The Ramen Girl" with Brittany Murphy, but we won't hold that against her.
