Before and after juicingOh, man, was this overdue. This guy has been lying about his blatant steroid use for years now. He went into government hearings and before a grand jury thinking he was untouchable, that he could lie and get away with it. Worst of all Barry betrayed baseball fans everywhere by using illegal performance-enhancing drugs.
Today a little justice was served, though, when Bonds was indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice by a San Francisco grand jury. Gee, it only took four years ... but hopefully this will lead to bigger and better things, like being banned from the Hall of Fame and being stripped of his home run record. (Marion Jones, also a BALCO customer, was stripped of her Olympic medals this year.) A little jail time would be nice, too.
