Christina ApplegateI have come to like Christina Applegate. I hated Married with Children because it made me sad for the human race but then again I loved the wonderfully titled "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" starring a young teased-hair Christina. And then there was her show Jesse which I wanted to like but it just wasn't funny but obviously a lot of people thought she was funny which is why she was given shows. Then she hopped around in films and guest spots on TV shows (as Rachel's obnoxious sister on Friends. Rachel's sisters were played by Reese Witherspoon and Christina Applegate. Intimidating family) and of course The Sweetest Thing of which I think she was the funniest. Then she really proved her talent when she was cast as the lead in the musical Sweet Charity showing that she could sing and dance (after she broke her foot for a few months). And now Ms.Applegate (who just divorced cutie Johnathan Schaech) has been given another chance for TV with Samantha Who? which sounds dumb but you know what 6 friends sitting around a coffee house all day also probably sounded dumb. Anyway, Samantha has just woken up from a coma and of course has retrograde amnesia and realized quickly that she was a heinous bitch! But now she has been given a clean slate. Christina carries the show but Jean Smart as her hilarious mother, Melissa McCarthy (Sookie from Gilmore Girls) and Barry Watson (who is obviously sleeping with someone at ABC. I mean did anyone watch What About Brian?) also hold their own. Oh and Jennifer Esposito is in it as well but I heard she is mean. Anyway it is on Monday nights on ABC.
