Likes to poke for funRemember when Sean Penn was married to Madonna and everyone thought he was nuttier than a granola bar? Maybe not - it was a long time ago. He reportedly tried to take her hostage to keep her from leaving him. That went well.
Sean has been with his wife, Robin, for a number of years now, and they've seemed very content and well-adjusted. But I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks ... or let him get within biting distance. Here's what Sean had to say about the paparazzi phenomenon:
"I still think photographers should be lashed out at. They should be put in a cage where you can poke them with a stick for a quarter. But not in a hostile way, just for giggles. They really are on the attack against mankind; it's a disease. They should be helped somewhere. But I'd still like to poke them with a stick."
The guy's got a great sense of humor, right? Um, I don't think he's laughing. I bet when he was a kid he liked to pull the wings off flies and burn ants with a magnifying glass. Not in a hostile way, just for giggles. I'm almost ashamed to say it, but I'd still slap and tickle that. But just for giggles.
