Emmy and AshleeI just don't see Emmy Rossum and Ashlee Simpson being friends. I don't know what it is but Emmy Rossum seems so ...what is the word...classy and Ashlee is well...not. Not that actually Ashlee doesn't have a better career because I think Emmy has been riding the coat tails of Phantom of the Opera which came out like three years ago because she supposedly has an album out which I have a feeling is going to be like Charlotte Church: The Next Generation so I doubt it will be good. Ashlee however is a good musician..well if not good, then popular at least, has a cute boyfriend, and is looking better than ever (well skinnier) and she has that rock star fashion down. Basically she wears a lot of black, long stringy hair and a hat. Emmy is a New York bred opera singer while Ashlee climbed on the counter in a McDonalds while drunk. But hey if they want to be friends, I'm not gonna stop them. Plus Ash looks a little wasted, she could use some friends.

Actually Emmy's CD (out next week) is pretty good based on the 3 song EP that was released in July. Not at all "Charlotte Church". She wrote the music and the lyrics herself. It has an Enya meets Imogean Heap meets Sarah McLaughlin sound to it.
