She was probably smart enough to give it up while nursing her gorgeous little boy, but by the looks of things she's back on the whoopsie wagon. Seems like a good idea to be able to gorge yourself, then yark it all up before it sticks to your waist and hips, right?
Wrong. The havoc this kind of disorder wreaks on a person's teeth, digestive tract and other vital organs is devastating. It's not all about image, not when you've got a little boy and gorgeous husband who love you. And y'know what? Her fans would also still love her if she wasn't rail thin.
Speaking of fans, many of Gwen's fans are pre-teen and teenage girls who are already susceptible to self-image issues. Those are the years when these disorders often crop up. Setting an example like this for impressionable young girls just isn't right. Perhaps Gwen should be seen eating sensibly and exercising now and then, instead of just baring her midriff and ignoring her hunger pangs. Kate Hudson did it. So did Jennifer Garner. Both of those women are stunning post-maternity, and they didn't have to stick their fingers down their throats to get there.
