Jennifer Garner's Dreams Realized, Normal People Still Miserable
Jennifer Garner makes her Broadway debut this fall, playing Roxanne opposite Kevin Kline in Cyrano De Bergerac.
According to WENN, it's always been Garner's dream to be a star of the stage instead of being a TV/movie celeb.
"Theater's always been my absolute dream of all dreams, and all this other stuff that I've done has been accidental," Garner says.
"I only ended up auditioning for television and movies because I was understudying a Turgenev play on Broadway. I was so broke that when I got a mini-series I had to take it, and was so ashamed because I was such a snob."
A snob? Really, Jen?
That explains your impressive body of film work. How many Oscars did 13 Going on 30 win, again? What about Elektra? I forgot how to count that high.
And your character, Wanda, from Dude Where's My Car?...how did you achieve that level of gravitas?
Takes my breath away, really. I think only Pauly Shore exceeds your caliber of film choices.
