Women's Murder Club
Women's Murder Club, the new Angie "I Heart Bush" Harmon series based on a series by James Patterson, premieres this Friday on ABC.
The one-hour cop show centers around four successful and beautiful young women and their trials and tribulations baby-sitting homicidal brats in the fictional town of Stoneybrook, CT. Since Harmon's rocking that mannish jaw-line, she plays softball-loving club president, Kristy.
Wait, that's the fucking Baby-Sitters Club.
So, what the hell's this one about? Harmon plays a homicide detective who is BFFs with equally stylish hot chicks whose professions include Medical Examiner, D.A.'s Assistant and reporter. Could they have possibly come up with a more demeaning name?
"Oh, I totally wanna solve the case, sister, but like, I gotta text Tom back. He is so confusing!!! If he doesn't wanna move in together he could just say something, right!?!?!"
"OMG, girls, after we bag this serial rapist using our flirty, feminine wiles, we are TOTALLY getting some nachos and 'ritas!!!"
Did ABC not learn from the similarly-named 2002 David E. Kelley hot-lawyers-in-midriffs drama, girls club (we're too cool to use proper capitalization. we're edgy. hip. canceled in five minutes).
