The Cavemen and some SapesTwo new comedies debuted on ABC last night. Cavemen, a sitcom based on the ever-so-popular though extremely weird and really only funny for 50 seconds Geico cavemen commercials and Carpoolers, starring Jerry O'Connel and some non-famous people as a group of men who carpool because then they can get to work faster. I'm gonna say it. I related more to the 20-something Neanderthals struggling with relationships (and I love Sam Huntington from It's a Mall World and Not Another Teen Movie) than the douch-bag Jerry O'Connel played (though I love him in real life.) I predict both of these shows will face cancellation but if anything the Cavemen show will make it longer out of shear bizaar fascination. And Jerry, stick to assisting Jill Henessy with dead bodies. Or play a transexual like your wife. She couldn't carry her own show either.
