Cassandra's Dream, Writer / Director, "Woody Allen" says he's not a "perfectionist" when making films: Cassandra's Dream
"I'm not a dedicated filmmaker, I'm lazy. To me, making a film is not the be-all end-all of my life. I want to shoot the film and go home and get on with my life," Allen said.
"Woody is one of those who seems like he has absolutely no technique," said Colin Farrell. "Which is beautiful," -- Allen's style involves "almost no rehearsal" and "usually just two or three takes."
Allen gives the credit for his success to picking the right actors: “There are a lot of very talented actors out there, and if you hire them and don’t mess them up, they make me look good.”
-- 'Yo Hollywood! -- take note -- more "Lazy" filmmaking!!...oh, wait...'don't they already do that.
