Katherine and her co-star T.R. Knight Katherin Heigl, who won for Best Supporting Actress in a drama, wore a clinging white dress which she looked beautiful in because, you know, she is pretty damn beautiful. Heigl's speech was also the best of the evening as she said 'Holy shit!' with general authenticity when her name was announced. She then told everyone her mother said she didn't have a snowball in hell's chance of winning and then realizing she had just villiafied her mother (who is her manager) she quickly said she has always been very supportive and it was FUNNY. Then when Sally Field won for Brothers and Sisters she decided to talk about the war which is always a good move but along the way she became a babbling idiot. But not even like a cute babbling idiot. At what point she was just making sounds. You think she would have learned from her "You really like me!" speech which has gone down in the history of bad speeches. There were some other good speeches such as James Spader and a surprisingly heartfelt Jeremy Piven and of course the wonderful Tina Fey. Her brilliant show 30 Rock won for best comedy and she thanked the "dozens and dozens" of viewers. Also what was with the censor cut-outs to that weird shot of the top of auditorium? No, that did not look very good.
