Have you seen my lawyer?It's been a wild week of Spears, what with all the tabloids covering her flings, her aversion to changing her sons' dirty diapers and attempts to bleach Sean Preston's teeth instead of simply brushing them. Then there was the subpoena free-for-all in the Hollywood Hills by Kevin's hired commando team.
Britney was reported to be either shacking with or relying on Criss Angel for professional advice. Either would be laughable were it not so pitiable.
This afternoon came word that Britney left the office of her high-powered attorney Linda Wasser obviously distraught because Laura refused to represent her anymore. It is highly unusual for a lawyer to bail on a client in the midst of such turmoil. Is Britney not paying her bill? Not likely. I think it's probably more accurate to assume that Britney's neuroses have spread to even this relationship, and Laura chose to bail rather than to continue on this course set for disaster.
What's Britney's next move? Probably to fire her manager, Jeff Kwatinez, like Kelly Clarkson did when he couldn't save her from her own bad decisions. It's so hard to find a good scapegoat these days.
