I don't like you, manPoor little Fiddy. He seems to be having anger management problems. Has he run out of meds? Has he been spurned by a lover? No, I think it's just Kanye West eating at him. Whatever it is that has Fifty all riled up has caused him to make two errors, one juvenile in nature, the other unnecessarily risking his career. Both gentlemen are scheduled to release their hotly-anticipated new albums on September 15. Kanye doesn't seem worried, but Fifty is going nutsy koo-koo. He has laid down a challenge: if Kanye's album sells more copies than his, he'll retire from recording (but not writing and producing). Come to think of it, this is pretty childish, too.
The other mistake Fifty made this week was to overreact to one of his songs being leaked to the internet. Dude, what's the BFD if it's good? Maybe it'll give you a jump on Kanye, right? Unfortunately, Fifty sees things differently. Flying into a rage at the headquarters of his recording company, he ripped a 50-inch flatscreen off the wall and smashed it into a conference table, destroying both. Is there a reason behind Fifty's sudden volatility? Is there more to this rivarly than just business? Or is Fifty losing faith in himself? Kanye sure doesn't seem to be, and his very smugness must be driving him wild.
