KeriFirst she had her big little indie hit in the beginning of the summer, Waitress (well first she was a genetically blessed person who got her own show and got to date Scott Speedman) and then she did Waitress. Then she got pregnant, married and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named River. And now she has a new film coming out called August Rush that looks absolutely wonderful. It is about two musicians, the almost creepily hot Johnathan Rhys-Meyers and Keri making some beautiful love one night which results in her becoming pregnant. But then for some reason she has to give the baby up and she can't see Johnathan anymore even though they are both not teenagers (this is where it kinduv turns into a fairytale). So the baby grows up in an orphanage (I only thought those existed in old Disney movies still) and turns into Freddy Highmore, who in the world of child actors is the Dakota Fanning of boys. He then somehow runs away to New York City to find his parents (who have been looking for him sortuv all these years but they don't know his name so it is a challenge). To survive he plays the guitar which he is, of course, absolutely amazing at and he befriends Robin Williams who is dressed up stupidly like a cowboy (this looks like the weakest part of the film. Let's just hope he redeems himself for License to Wed). Anyway, the whole family is looking for eachother and they connect through their music of course and well it just looks like everyone will cry for two hours but who doesn't like to do that. Terrence Howard also plays some sort of music teacher I think. I am basing this all off the trailer and a brief plot synopsis so I could be completely off-kilter and this film could actually be about squirrels.
