Anne as Jane AustenAnne Hathaway is probably one of the most sought after actresses in the 20-something range which I must say is a bit surprising. When you ask people what they think of Anne Hathaway most say they love her films but they don't absolutely love her. There is just something you can't put your finger on about Ms.Hathaway. However, over the years she has managed to get herself many of the most coveted roles for young actresses starting with the lead in The Princess Diaries. It was such a charming plot for a film that I probably would have gone to see it even if a paper bag was starring in it. Then she ripped her clothes off in the greatest gay cowboy movie of our time, Brokeback Mountain. Anne decided to go topless to show that she was edgy with a capitol E. And then she got the role in The Devil Wears Prada. Everybody and their mother saw that movie and LOVED IT!! And now Anne is starring in Becoming Jane, a biopic about author Jane Austen's romantic life which I of course will be the first to see because Ms.Austen is my favorite writer ever. So again I would go see this movie if Paris Hilton was playing Jane (okay that is a lie. I would refuse. I would maybe see it if Nicole Richie was Jane. She would have to at least try to do the accent though). And Jane just wrapped up the much anticipated film Get Smart in which she will be playing Agent 99 to Steve Carrell's Maxwell Smart which I am sure will be a bonafide hit. So I guess Anne must be relatively talented.
