Say it ain't so!Seriously, it's reported that British call centres are overwhelmed with distress calls from Harry Potter fans mourning the loss of their little hero. Perhaps Kate is mourning the loss of her little hero, too. Kate has admirably stuck to her guns this time, not letting Pickled Pete back into her good graces. It's long overdue, but must be extraordinarily painful for her.
I'm a little more concerned about Kate's drinking companion. Is she seeing flying monkeys? Maybe the thought of being photographed in that wretched sweater is what set her off. Or maybe she can't get hold of her dealer.
I hope Kate continues to be strong, concentrating on her career and raising her daughter in a safe, healthy environment. She's still in demand with the top glossies and couture houses, and probably will be for some time to come. Before long, another long-haired, crack-smoking wannabe rockstar will come along, and she will be smitten once more. Or maybe she'll learn her lesson, and find herself a nice respectable man with a healthy bank account of his own. Either way, it's gotta be better than life with Pete.
