Andy Dick is a vile, drug-addled cornhole. He gets messed up, pisses off everyone within a five-mile radius and thinks it's funny. He blatantly shovels coke up his nose, regardless of where he is and who he's with (including his son). This guy should have gotten his ass handed to him years ago, but always slithered away scot-free.
Until now. Last week at the Laugh Factory, Dick(less) had the bad taste and judgment to get into it with comedian Jon Lovitz, and Lovitz pounded his face into the bar until it was bloody. For real.
Lovitz hates Dick for a damn good reason: He gave Phil Hartman's wife, Brynne, cocaine after she'd been clean for ten years. Five months later, she flipped out, killing her husband and then herself. Jon and Phil were good friends and had worked on Saturday Night Live together, and when Phil was killed Jon was tapped to take his place on the Newsradio series. It was then that he told Dick that he "wouldn't be here if you hadn't given Brynne that cocaine."
Last year Dick came up to Lovitz in a restaurant and told him he'd put the "Phil Hartman hex" on him and that he was next to die. When the two bumped into each other last week, Jon wanted Dick to apologize, and when he refused Jon finally gave him a righteous beating. I hope they let him drink for free that night.
