The opportunistic weasel walking with the alleged Helen is none other than Stephen Kay, he who has been bumping uglies with that most desperate of housewives, Teri Hatcher and doing his best to bask in her flickering spotlight. He's the director of such stellar hits as Boogeyman, and is a notorious playah, even going so far as to collect phone numbers from other starlets right under Teri's nose.
Maybe we're reading too much into this. Maybe Teri and the alleged Helen are best buddies and Stephen has enlisted her help for a surprise Botox party. Maybe Teri and Stephen got into a big fight before she went to Eva's wedding without him, and the alleged Helen is a therapist hired to heal the rift.
Or maybe the alleged Helen is really a middle-aged actress who's blown through her residuals and has been out of circulation too long to be offered a decent script. In that case, she's exactly what he's looking for, and would do well to ditch him before he decides to move in.
