Nicole and bf Joel Madden were heading to Canada (?!) as she tried to shield herself from photogs. A pillow is the obvious choice. Apparently no one had any hand towels or matchbooks to throw in front of the waif.
I'm going to use this time to say that I don't like Joel Madden or his talentless band "Good Charlotte". I am also surprised he and Richie are still on speaking terms. I think she could do much better than him. And that's saying a lot.
