Julia StilesWhen she first came on the scene, it was like Julia Stiles fever. I mean who didn't love 10 Things I Hate About You? Of all the mediocre teen films made from 1999 to 2002 it was by far the best. And Julia seemed smarter than most of her teen star counterparts (and she was. She graduated from Columbia University two years ago). But then she started to do less charming films like Down to You (co-starring the always amazing Freddie Prinze Jr.) and Save the Last Dance (okay that one was pretty good, especially the dance scenes). But I guess she sensed this and decided to really get into her studies only doing small, supporting parts in the occasional movie like Mona Lisa Smile and The Bourne Identity. However, now her role in The Bourne Identity has become major and I have a feeling she may even become Matt Damon's love interest in The Bourne Ultimatum which comes out later this summer. She also directed the film Raving which was showcased at the Tribeca Fim Festival and starred Zooey Deschanel and she is developing the film adaptation of The Bell Jar which I am sure will be a real summer blockbuster. Anyway, it is nice to see she didn't die or became addicted to something. Oh wait. She was in The Omen which came out last summer but that looked pretty bad.
