By the end of this summer Shia will have starred in three summer blockbusters (Disturbia, Surfs Up and of course Transformers). Not too bad for the kid from Even Stevens. I always thought he was quite funny and then I thought he was quite talented and now I think he is quite irresistable. He is the John Cusack for the YouTube generation though I see Shia winning an Oscar in the next few years. He brings an intensity to films that is so refreshing and rare in an actor from his age group. I have a feeling, as good actors as the Autobots are, Shia will definitely be the stand-out in Transformers. One review said the women in the film had as much range as cardboard and Tyrese didn't get rave reviews either. As for Josh Duhamel, well I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
Shia is on the cover of Vanity Fair this month and in combination with this film he will be a huge star in about five seconds. Just remember who was watching him on the Disney Channel first. He is with Alexis Bledel in this picture but I am going to pretend it's me.
