Stay away from this filmI saw that coming from a mile away. Come on now, people don't still think Robin Williams is funny do they?
Reviewers are going so far as to say "Even the outtakes at the end are lame." Maybe because someone decided to make a translucent comedy starring Robin Williams. Take this time to go and read this terrible review. Made me cringe.
My only worry is for John Krasinski who plays Mandy Moore's finance in the film. I hope this bad idea from the start doesn't hurt his up and coming career. I am undoubtedly biased in my unflinching love for him. I mean have you seen "The Office"? That show gives you no choice but to <3 Jim (Krasinski's character).
So in review, "License to Wed" = bad movie. Robin Williams = played out, cheesy and not funny since well, ever (Ok maybe Mrs. Doubtfire, but even that's a stretch). John Krasinski = dreamy.
