These Brazilian yogurt ads are haunting me. Granted they aren't in the good old US of A, so my bitching rights are limited.
The ads all picture larger woman portraying iconic, often sexualized, movie characters. All I can say is such an annoying, low blow of a campaign is infuriating (and no, I'm not mad because I'm fat and it hurt my feelings...). The tagline is "Forget about it. Men's preference will never change. Fit light yogurt." Seriously, that is the tagline. Could have just said, "Eat our over processed yogurt. You will be thin. People will like you. " Same basic idea.
I call fowl! Brazil can't be so cute and thin that no one is going to get pissed about this. Damned if that would have flown here.
Side note: These pictures are very flattering and all seem to be depicting American films (the ones I have seen at least). Strange.

I don't know if that's what it means. I often hear that men prefer women with more surface to grab than the thin ones. To be thin is something only us women think it sexy. Just a thought...
