LaLohanNancy Meyers, the acclaimed director of appealing chick flicks like Something's Gotta Give and Father of the Bride, was being recognized at a dinner recently. Meyers of course directed a little, wholesome Lindsay Lohan in her breakout film, The Parent Trap about a million drinks ago (actually 9 years ago). In her speech Meyers, without exactly saying anyone's name said something along the lines of women in Hollywood are getting a bad name because certain young actresses are drinking and driving and not wearing underwear. She may as well have said "and have red hair sometimes, falls down a lot and has crazy-ass parents."
The ABC Family channel has been showing The Parent Trap a lot and I can't help but tune in whenever it is on. It is almost disturbing how cute and innocent this role is and to think of her now is just sad because she is the same very talented girl.
