Ashlee SimpsonHas Ashlee been reading Mary-Kate Olsen's guide to dressing? I mean she has got the whole eclectic accessories thing going on for sure. Though Ashlee seems to be very much embracing the color black lately (because she is edgy you know) while MK always likes to have a little color in her homeless chic look. Lately MK has been sporting a giant plush dark purple and red clutch thing that looks like a pillow from her new fashion line. Way to self promote Mary-Kate. I don't know why Ashlee wears so much black (including knee socks which are her favorite accessory right now. They are only acceptable in the movie Clueless or on Halloween). But Ashlee has a great boyfriend (who wears lots of make-up but let us not focus on the little things), a relatively good career (as long as she stays away from making movies) and she hasn't been caught lip-synching in almost two years. Oddly, her sister Jessica is going through a bit of a rough patch. Funny thing that is.
