Elle Magazine has an article in their June issue featuring Hugh Hefner and the ladies from "The Girls Next Door". The piece painted a not so intelligent picture of girlfriend Kendra. Now she is mad.
The article pointed out Kendra's "fleeting attention span", and her comments in regards to her breasts being her "best investment". Some gentle digs were also made at her intelligence or lack thereof. Not for nothing, but if you have ever seen even the smallest clip on that show, you know Kendra is "the dumb one". That's what she does. She says dumb things.
Page Six reports that Kendra spoke about how hurt her feelings were on "Larry King". Saying, "a magazine article that just came out . . . it hurt my feelings and it really, like, crushed my heart. And Hef being such a great guy, he said, 'You know what, Kendra? I was going to write them a letter and say, like, how this is wrong.' [The article] wasn't really nice . . ."
Hefner agreed with her statement, then wrote the woman who penned the infamous article a nice little note: "I just finished reading your article . . . and think it's the best, most perceptive piece on the show to date . . . I hope you get a chance to do a longer story for the New York Times or The New Yorker." Doesn't sound like he is coming to anyones rescue to me. Guess what it comes down to is the shows need for certain rolls to be filled. And Hef recognizes Kendra's roll as the dense girl with huge boobs and a grill.

Why are Americans so against light hearted fun? Kendra never claimed to be a scholar, she's silly and cute. You are correct, part of her appeal is that she says dumb things often but gee...I bet no woman who is criticizing her EVER played dumb before or enjoys laughing at their own or their friends ditz moments. And seriously this journalist must have room to talk, you have to be quite the genius to interview celebrities, write about clothes, or research what mascara to use. For some reason I keep
For some reason I keep watching the GND even the reruns that I've seen. Makes me sound like a loser cause the only think I watch are Sopranos (now reruns), Sex In The City (all reruns) and now GND. Anyway I'm not a loser but I wanted to say that Hef invites MANY girls to live at the mansion after the first or second date. If they do move it it is to the "guest house" and if they can put up with the fact that they MUST be gorgeous AT ALL TIMES, accessible to Hef AT ALL TIMES, can't be out after 9 p.m., can't see another man, only can look at Hef and giggle and keep him entertained at a moments notice, living in the guesthouses with LOTS of other girls, showing up at the twice a week orgy that the must attend AT ALL TIMES and seeing very little of Hef then he lets them stay until he is tired of them. You have to show up for dates and parties whenever Hef wants you and be adorable but never, ever take any attention from Hef or the 3 ladies. The other thing is that you have to be on Holly's "good girls" list because if she doesn't like anything you do or say you are outta there. You can never talk about what goes on there and must give the standard answer of "I don't kiss and tell". It actually is a pretty difficult life with few perks and requires a lot of the girls.
Anyway there are some things that not everyone knows which I have dug up. Bridgette is very sic sexually, will do anything with anything (ok I'm not going to spell it out but family members and animals qualify for at least one interaction). If you ever notice this thing she does with her mouth when she is trying to be sexy it's pretty gross, watch for it, I SWEAR she looks evil when she does it!
Kendra actually is bi but prefers women and Holly is truly in love with Hef and would do anything for him, but he made her clean up her act because she was actually pretty trashy when she was just another girlfriend and he wants a classy woman. She did clean up well. Bridgette has been there a long time and by far the most opportunistic of the girls.

Oh Come on! What a jealous bunch of fools! I am happy for Kendra, Bridget and Holly; Hef has given them a huge gift which has changed their lives forever so God bless him! All women should be so lucky to have a kind Prince Charming. I say, Live and Let live and Hef, Kendra, Bridget, Holly if you're lisetening, you're all wonderful and kind and good and fun people enjoying the blessings you have been given. I recall in one show Kendra said: I don't know what I ever did to deserve this... which shows how sweet and humbe you are! I love that! And that's the kind of attitude and those are the simple kind of words that keep people watching and loving you all!
