Britney is causing those around her to become alarmed by allegedly turning to a dangerous prescription amphetamine, Adipex, in addition to the powerful diuretic Lasix (favored by congenital heart and liver failure patients as well as race horses), to shed pounds quickly as she bumbles about on her quasi-tour.
Like most stimulants, Adipex often causes paranoia and mood swings. Without proper medical supervision, Adipex may also cause its users to develop increasing tolerance to the drug, causing the patient to take more and more to achieve the desired effect. Sounds like something out of an episode of The Twilight Zone, but I guess it might explain how Britney's ass went from overexposed but tolerable to this:
