When you spend 175 million on a film it makes sense to call on the same 'Jesus rednecks' that sat through Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ." For the upcoming: "Evan Almighty." -- studio executives are "saying their prayers"...um, but will those 'rednecks' buy a black man as God?Was Jesus a Black Man?
There's a real PR company geared towards the diehard "evangelicals" and they go out to religious groups to publicize the release of "Evan Almighty."
Basically, they go out and say our funny movie has a message that lines up with the same mumble jumble fantasies found in the Bible.
