MKMary-Kate Olsen has gotten her first major acting job since “New York Minute.” She had a tiny role in “Factory Girl” but it was cut down to her standing in the background. However, she has apparently gotten a role on the award winning Showtime series Weeds which stars Mary-Louise Parker, Kevin Nealon and Elizabeth Perkins. It is a very smart and well-written show and Mary-Kate will actually be on ten out of fifteen episodes playing a hyper-religious girl who becomes the love interest of Mary-Louise Parker’s teenage son.
I have to say I am pretty impressed with this move. In the last few years Ashley has seemed to be the stronger of the two with actually staying in college (well longer then MK), not dressing like Mrs.Roeper on Three’s Company (also MK) and not dating a guy who kinduv looks like a chic.
Mary-Kate obviously had to take the job because she is need of money. I wonder if they are actually going to pay the skinny-mogul? I mean she has more money than everyone on that show. I feel like it would just be funny to pay her.
