Jessica SimpsonJessica Simpson was seen at Cannes over the week looking very glamorous and not too whorish (unlike at the Met Costume Institute Gala in which her boobs were hanging out and her mouth was in full-pursed mode). Ms.Simpson was promoting her new film, Blonde Ambition, which from what I have read looks like it has a pretty stellar cast (any by stellar cast I mean any cast that doesn’t include Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott) including Luke Wilson and Rachel Leigh Cook (where did she disappear to for five years? Last time I saw her was in She’s All That).
However, though the film may have a cute cast it still is a cheap comedy so it surprises me that it was included in the Cannes lineup. This is making me think less of Cannes and is definitely making me reconsider not going when I receive my invitation (this is many years in the future).
