Paris Hilton was sentenced to serve 45 days in a L.A. county jail on Friday for violating probation. For anyone who didn’t know Paris was on probation for her drunk driving conviction. This isn’t just a minor traffic violation.
Since her initial drunk driving offense, Paris has TWICE been nabbed for probation violation. Once for driving with a suspended license and once for speeding with no headlights. She obviously doesn’t take her driving mishaps too seriously. After the sentence was handed down, Hilton’s lawyer was quoted as saying, “She was singled out for who she is. She's been selectively targeted.” So, non famous people can rack up moving violations and not get in trouble? It must not be easy being an heiress. So many people and judges out to get you!
“US Weekly” also quoted Paris’s friend Kim Kardashian (who?) with saying, “I feel so awful for her. She's in my prayers.” Yeah, she’ll be in my prayers as well. I’ll pray she gets a good dog sitter while she does her time. It’s only fair. Being blond and rich shouldn’t be a get outta jail free card.
