Better. Much Better. The Sopranos is finally living up to the reputation it made for itself back when we fell in love with Tony, Carm and “the gang” during Seasons 1 and 2 although it’s become slightly more predictable. Here’s some of the highlights of last night’s episode.

Tony Bangs a Skank!: It was nice to see Tony back on the horse and sleeping with women half his age and twice as good looking. I’m not gonna lie though. As he was huffing and puffing and humping away, I thought for a second that we might be in for the season clincher and Tony was going to die on top of that Michelle-Phiffer-In-Scarface wannabe. Now that would be unexpected since everyone’s waiting for Tony to either get nabbed by the Feds or Whacked.
Give a Beating / Take a Beating: While I’m not an advocate of assaulting the elderly, it was kinda hot when that crazy kid went buck wild on Uncle Junior. It was kind of disturbing too. The real butter moment was when Junior went ballistic and beat the shit of the Professor. Seeing him kick the professor when he was down like his name was Trey and this was Boyz N The Hood, not the Sopranos, was definitely a highlight for me.
There were a few other moments that warmed my heart like the bullet-in-the-eye close up and the appearance of Big Pussy in Pauly’s dreams. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
