Don Imus can easily be listed as the Radio Host who we don't give really care about (I don't know anyone who listens to him)....okay, so, he called a Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos" and was suspended for two weeks.don imus
Not one to avoid controversy...we thought Imus was already dead (his career certainly is)...or at least, very close to dying. I just saw a picture of Don Imus for the first time. He's very very old. And while I'm not definding his racial comments; I think we should support 'free speech' from old people who are about to die -- they just don't know what they are talking about most of time (especially speech that comes from old people nobody cares about) -- each word that comes of his old mouth could be called a 'dying wish.'
On his show Monday, Imus called himself "a good person" who made a bad mistake. Don Imus doesn't have the talent for 'comedy' of say a Howard Stern or even the social relevance -- and for his punishment...he should be forced back on the air to talk to three people that want to listen to his old people's views; just rename the show the ramblings of an old fart (and those who love to smell bad gas).
