GRINDHOUSE MOVIE REVIEW: Pure popcorn fun, this 'double-barreled homage to cheap and sleazy '70s exploitation pictures,' from Tarantino and Rodriguez, had me laughing like 'a little school girl tripping on acid.' (hey guys, feel free to use that quote in your movie ads).Grindhouse
Tarantino's film, the better of the double bill (features great dialogue ala "Pulp Fiction"), -- and Rodriguez's "Planet Terror," zombie spoof-- while could have been tighter, (maybe even better written), still had enough there to...um, feed off.
All said it's just 'campy fun;' not to mention a great deal for $10, and both Tarantino and Rodriguez are having fun fun, letting us along for a joy ride in their creative playground.
