Sitting around wondering how Music got so bad...look no further:

Check out the news over at Fox's American Idol; which is all about Sanjaya Malakar’s hairstyles (somewhere I imagine a sign hanging outside that reads: "brush your hair 'cause we all know talent is optional"). Just get yourself a hot producer to do your beats and make sure you're a hottie.

It's expected that poor Timbaland's genius will get buried under the latest doos; His solo album, Shock Value, is expected to sell four copies this week (and I'll be the one buying two of those).

There was a time (before music videos) when looks came second to talent. Now it's so very "image" over "substance" -- and make sure you shake that bootie a few times.

Look at poor Alanis doing a pop cover to get somebody to pay attention to her.

The very thin Hilary Duff says she "feels pressure to be thin." -- which is just like the hot chick in High School crying on your shoulder over "how hard it is to stay pretty." -- some body give her donut, and tell her shut up and take singing lessons (not that you need any to sell records these days).

The 19-year-old Duff told People Magazine that she's either perceived as too fat or too thin in the media, which she says can be 'judgmental and mean.' It somehow makes sense since her new album 'Dignity' will preach to that target audience: overweight teenage girls who can't afford lipo -- pissed over the fact that they can't stop stuffing their faces.
'And if you don't like the way you look or feel insecure, when people say things about you _ in magazines or just in everyday life _ they can be hurtful. ... But you'll never make them happy,' she told the magazine. I somehow doubt she hurting, or going hungry.
