brunette Katherine HeiglKatherine Heigl has been seen around town lately sportin' a darker look. Perhaps she is trying to seperate herself from the blong Izzy, her character on Grey's Anatomy. It has pretty much been confirmed that Katherine has left the show and has already filmed her last episode. Yes, she is leaving the show that made her a star and won her an Emmy. Before Grey's she was a long-working actress (since childhood) who had had many TV shows but none of them had made her famous and her film work was pretty crappy (I believe the horror film Valentine is on her resume. Almost as scary as Valentine's Day. However, My Father the Hero is still one of the best movies of all time however). Somewhere along the way perhaps because her films have been very successful (it is true. The Ugly Truth and 27 Dresses made a ton of money as well as Knocked Up of course) she decided she didn't need a TV show that took up all her time and so Katie has moved on. I would take a similar attitude to your friend Ellen Pompeo though. That woman does nothing but go out and promote that show and doesn't even think about doing films. Katherine does have a new film coming out however with Mr. Ashton Kutcher. Always a sign of a hit. It actually looks descent but a major Mr. and Mrs. Smith rip off called Killers (watch the trailer here http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/lions_gate/killers/) that is set to be released later in June.
