Lauren on CosmopolitanLauren Conrad is pretty popular this month once again and she isn't even promoting a new TV show. Yeah she has those books but who actually reads those? But according to Us Weekly Lauren may be back on TV once again because she is the only cast member of The Hills that no one wants to slap. Even she said herself that she finds it weird that she is constantly getting applauded for pretty much not being a crazy whore. I mean should you really be applauding someone for behaving better than Heidi Montag? That is pretty much like 90% of the population. And it is also pretty easy to look good next to Stephanie Pratt, Audrina and Kristin. Right now Lauren Conrad looks rather saintly plus she actually has written two best-sellers. Y'all don't scare me noneJust a couple points here, although since this Fernando Flores is apparently such a legal luminary he's got it covered, but still. First and foremost, these allegedly new charges are actually old news: California Child Protective Services already investigated and dismissed Fernando's allegations months ago. He's been trying to shake her down since he left her employ and claims he wants to go the distance at trial. With what?

More importantly, everyone knows that Britney has been living under a conservatorship for over a year now. That means she's closely supervised and she's got lots of staff on hand, you know, to help take care of the kids, tidy up, make sure madam is wearing proper undergarments ... this girl probably isn't allowed to so much as piss by herself, yet she was able to parade around naked, feed her kids 'til they puked and then have "loud, vigorous" sex in the same room with the aforementioned kids ... and no one else saw it? Oh, please, brother, give it up and move on already.

Jennifer and Courtney on Cougar TownUmm they have been pretty much trying to get her to do the show since like the pilot so is this really surprising? Plus, Jen has been known to take a TV gig or two (30 Rock, Dirt) especially when her best friend Courtney is making the offer. Jennifer will play Jules's new shrink and then they become BFFs which makes Jules's original best friend Elie quite jealous and hilarity will ensue. It appears that Jen looks like a bit of a free spirit on the show since her hair is all flowy and she appears to be wearing a cool t-shirt. Jen was also seen on a romantic date with Cougar Town star Josh Hopkins who is ridiculously hot and after years of playing boring cute guys on Private Practice and Brothers & Sisters he finally got to show off how wonderfully funny he is. I say this would be a good move for Jen. Way better than John Mayer or Lindsay Lohan's ex, Harry Morton.

Katie & Tom at the premiereHis other kids, Isabella and Connor, were all seen around town with their dad and little sister looking like they were having a grand old time. Does anyone have school? Guess not. Katie was busy running around town promoting the film she stars in and produced! She dropped by Regis & Kelly and David Letterman before attending the premiere with her co-stars on 19th and Broadway last night. Katie wore one of her own Holmes & Yang designs to the premiere. The pattern was lovely but it was just a tad short (maybe because Holmes & Yang is supposed to be a children's line) plus she wore tights which seems to be an odd choice since it was like 80 degrees last night. Anyway, the whole cast looked great and the film is getting a whole lot of buzz.

Rooney MaraThe first shots of Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Sander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo have surfaced this week and you have to admit she looks pretty well suited for the part. They either cut her hair off or got her a great wig and though she is not as short as the book described her she definitely has the skinny part down.
